Our take
Anker built its consumer brand on phone chargers and portable power banks (sold at Home Depot and Costco at genuinely low price points) before entering fixed whole-home battery storage with SOLIX X1 -- the newest and least-established entrant in this catalog by brand history in this specific product category, distinct from EcoFlow and Bluetti in that Anker does not yet have even a portable-market reputation specifically for backup power the way those two do. Real US pricing genuinely could not be found this pass at any retail or distributor channel checked -- Anker's own site and every distributor found either omitted price entirely or showed a generic percentage-off promotion with no base price disclosed. One third-party review site estimated roughly $650/kWh ($9,750 for a 15 kWh system) but stated explicitly 'Anker does not publish the cost of the X1' -- an editorial estimate, not a seller-observed price, and NOT used as a price_seed observation for exactly that reason.

Before you buy this
Size on continuous power (kW) for what you actually want backed up during an outage, not just usable capacity (kWh) — a well pump or a heat pump compressor starting can draw far more than its running wattage. List your essential loads and ask whether the proposed inverter can start them together, not just hold them once running. And confirm the quote isn't still claiming the 30% federal credit, which expired for anything placed in service after 31 December 2025.
